How to sow:
Sow seeds indoors 4 weeks before last frost. Lightly cover seeds. Harden off seedlings and transplant outdoors after last frost. Seeds may also be sown directly into the garden once soil has warmed up. Pinching is not necessary.
Care:
As a low maintenance annual, California poppies are tolerant of drought and a wide range of soil conditions. While individual flowers are relatively short lived, the plants are very productive and produce plenty of blooms. 65-75 days to maturity.
