'Vegmo Single' remind me of the camomile blooms that grew in my grandmother's garden. Adorable yellow centres are surrounded by delicate white petals. A true classic, feverfew has long been a garden staple. Each plant produces a multitude of dainty blooms, carried on well branching stems. Makes an excellent bouquet filler.
Plant type: annual
Height: 28-36”
Planting depth: surface sow
Exposure: full sun
Plant spacing: 9”
Approx seeds per packet: 50
How to sow:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Do not cover seeds as light is required for germination. Harden off and transplant outdoors. Pinching not necessary.
Care:
Feverfew has a tendency to wilt if harvested too early. Therefore harvest mature stems, when most of the blooms in a spray are open. Feverfew has a tendency to turn vase water murky. A few drops of bleach in the water will help combat murkiness. 100-110 days to maturity.
