A delicate looking annual with long, wispy stems which sway gracefully in the breeze. The easy to grow plants produce pure white flowers which feature the most charming speckles. Flowers are gracefully held up on long, branching stems. A must grow for the flower arranger. Also know as corn cockle.

How to sow:
Direct sowing is recommend as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Can also be sown indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost. Harden off seedlings and transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Pinching is not necessary.
Care:
Agrostemma can be succession sown every 2-3 weeks until midsummer. Sprays of flowers can be harvested when one to two flowers are open. 70-85 days to maturity.
