Lavatera produces tropical looking, hibiscus-like blooms. 'Pink Regis' features blush coloured flowers with a pink centre. Expect that roughly 10% of the plants will produce the more traditional pink coloured lavatera blooms. In spite of the papery, delicate petals, lavatera has an excellent vase life. Growing up, everyone had lavatera growing in their garden, and so the sight of these blooms remind me of my childhood.
